Capri Thermal Systems LLP (formerly Capri Cables Pvt. Ltd.) has been working in thermal management for both heat transfer and heat recovery since the last 20 years. Way back in 2004, Capri had set up a plant in the incubator park of International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), Hyderabad, to manufacture heat pipe-based heat sinks and other thermal management products.

Heat Pipes

Heat Pipes are closed, evacuated tubes containing a small amount of working fluid. Their inner walls are grooved or lined by a porous wick structure of sintered powder to provide capillary action for working fluid to return to the evaporator section.

Heat Sinks

Heat Sinks are devices equipped with heat pipes and have fins at the evaporator end. The heat pipes carry heat from the heat source to the fins, which dissipate the heat into the surrounding fluid medium (such as air).
